Full abstract
Micro amounts of vitamin E in multi-vitamin tablets are extracted from aqueous EDTA medium with petroleum ether and are determined after transesterification, by use of iron(III) in the presence of Ferrozine. Vitamin E is determined in concentrations of 40-200 mug per 25 ml of final solution with a relative precision of about 1-2% when the standard addition method is used.
